PLEASE HELP!

Here are my iMac specs...
Running macOS Mojave 10.14.6
Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2017
Processor: 3.5 GHz Intel Core i5
Memory: 16 GB 2400 MHz DDR4
Graphics: Radeon Pro 575 4 GB

I can't describe how frustrated I am right now. I'm not a professional but do have some understanding of I.T.
I use FCPX a lot and had no problems for the first 2 years after buying my iMac from new.
I then spent £299 upgrading to the latest version of FCPX and again had no problems.
During the Covid19 lockdown I used it even more while the weather was very hot. The fan was spinning up frequently but I kept the room as cool as possible with air con and had no issues.

Then, suddenly without warning, while editing a video, the screen went blank and I found the iMac had switched off!

I thought it had possibly over-heated, so I let it cool down before pressing the power button.
Pressing the power button did nothing. I had to switch off at the wall and then back on.
The sudden shut downs occurred more and more frequently, whether I was using FCPX or not, and whether the iMac was warm or not. It would even shut down when only on for 2 minutes from cold, when just sitting idle with no apps open.

I took it to a local repair shop (not Apple because I was outside warranty) and we decided it was a faulty power supply. They changed the power supply for £300
I had no more issues and happily edited videos with FCPX for about 6 weeks, then, it happened again!

It has now shut down suddenly about 6 times in 24 hours, but only when while using FCPX.
I can't spend any more money on this so would really appreciate any help!
I've disconnected all external drives and other peripherals but the shut downs still occur.

Is this a problem with the Graphics card? Or is it just FCPX?

I've down a hardware check using Apple Diagnostics (holding down D at startup). Not issues found.

Please help!
Thank you.

Did you resolve this? I have a similar issue with a newer iMac, same processor. Loads of memory and disc space to spare but FCPX shuts down when using Luma keying or effects (custom and standard)
