juts wondering why iChat logs out when you don't use it for awhile. I wish I could set it so that it stays on all the time becuase I don't when my friends are gonna be online~

I checked all my preferences and I don't see an option for iChat logging ou after a specific time. I assume this is caused by having sleep come on. Turn off "put computer to sleep" and "turn off hard drives whenever possible" (because I don't like it ;P) in the Energy Saver palette of the System Preferences. You can still let the monitor go to sleep.

also, if you're on dial-up you should make sure you have not set in your network preferences that it should automatically disconnect after a certain amount of time idle.
