Does anyone recognise this confusion with syncing their music library to their iPhone via iTunes?
I have a playlist called iPhone-playlist in iTunes, with a load of songs on it. Every so often I connect my iPhone to my Mac and sync this playlist to the iPhone.
Then I go to the iPhone's Music app, I look in 'Artists' or wherever, and find an album I'm looking for (amongst those I've synced from iTunes). I see an 'ellipsis' icon (red icon with three dots in a row), and if I tap it, it invites me to "Download" the album. I don't understand this: the album wasn't purchased from Apple, and it's already there anyway, downloaded via the sync with iTunes.
Why does this icon invite me to download the album when it's already downloaded via iTunes?
