Why does it take forever to backup your Ipad?

Is it because my battery is at 50% and the power used to power the USB bus is being used to charge the ipad?

Its taking like an hour + to backup my ipad.

first back ups are always the worst, because it backs up everything, later it just back ups the new files so there way shorter, unless your changing a mess of things like 26 episodes every time you sync.

Also, the charging is pretty minor so I doubt it is hindering your back up.

Isn't my first backup.....I usually backup every 3 days.

Wow you must be backing up a lot of info. Mine takes a minute max to back up. And that was only when I hadn't done so for a few days.

The problem is most likely due to one or more apps slowing down the backup. As I added more apps my backup got longer. Now it takes an hour.
