Hello everybody,
I have an iPhone 3G running the latest software-2.1. Recently my phone has been taking forever to backup- like 10 minutes or more. When I first upgraded to software 2.1 it used to take 2 minutes or less to backup. Does anybody know what is happening or how I can fix this problem?

Have you added a lot of apps? Maybe try a restore.

I have 2.1 and it only takes 3 min. max (and I have 8 pages of apps)

have you recently added apps with the phone not through pc or mac? when I add apps via the phone then sync it takes a little longer. 10 minutes is really not that long. There was a time it took 45 minutes. Anyway, if you have not added apps not sure what it could be. Search around here it has happened to others.

All I can say is that in my case it does take a little while after I download something directly. It has to create the back up. After that first one the next sync should be much faster.
