Hello

I havent jailbroken my iphone yet. I guess what I am currently wondering is:

Why does jailbreaking an iphone e.g through quickpwn make the phone use more battery power? (and sometimes unstable)

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 2_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/525.18.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.1.1 Mobile/5F136 Safari/525.20)

Wow, the misinformation in this thread is staggering. Jailbreaking doesn't automatically make your battery drain faster or make it any more or less stable than it already is. My advice to you is if you don't know the specifics, stay away from jailbreaking.

Also, google + macrumors are your friends, do a search on them if you wanna REALLY be informed about what jailbreaking does and does not do.

I haven't had any battery issues after jailbreaking. I'm sure that I could if I used apps that ran in the background, but I just haven't had the issue.
