Why does my 2.5G reset in the middle of every sync?

Basically I'll plug it in, it'll back up, then it'll sit on "syncing contacts" for two to three minutes then I'll get the spinner in the middle of the screen and the phone reboots. After this the phone resumes syncing.

Sometimes this happens more than once and it's getting pretty irritating. Anybody know what's going on?

I've tried restoring with no results. The phone is obviously out of warranty.

Have you tried replacing the flux capacitor? Ha... But seriously, when you do the restore... do you do it from back up or as a new iPhone?
