Hello Everyone,

So this weekend I attempted to turn on my Imac and I was able to use it for about 5 minutes then out of no where it just simply restarted on its own. Now every time I try to turn it on it just keeps going in a cycle of restarting itself. At one point I did leave the Imac alone for about 30 minutes and then I was able to turn it on again and use it for about 2 minutes before I restarted itself again. Once again going through the same cycle of just restarting itself again. About two months ago I did increase my Ram from 4GB to 16GB. I'm tempted on putting it back to 4GB, just to see if that is the issue or not. Any recommendations?

It maybe an issue with the RAM. I would download 'Rember' and see if it discovers any issues with the memory.

The new RAM sounds suspect. Put the old RAM back (make sure it "clicks" into place) and retest.
