Every once in a while i'll go to wake my imac 27 i7 up from sleep and nothing happens. It's like the machine has just turned off. Anyone else have this?

What settings do you have selected in System Preferences > Energy Saver?

Normally I just move the mouse to wake it up. I'll check the settings.

System Preferences > Bluetooth > Advanced > Make sure "Allow Bluetooth devices to wake up computer" box is checked

Hellhammer you are a true genius. Also maybe PRAM might need a reset *shrug*

New iMac blows breaker and dies

My wife's two-week old, 21-inch iMac, on the same circuit as the iMac it replaced, went off as a circuit blew and now seems dead as a doornail. Doesn't matter where i plug it in. Circuit is fine, other devices working perfectly. Tried disconnecting the power, holding down the power button, nothing. Didn't at first associate the breaker blow with the Mac but am now thinking it was the cause. Any ideas? previous experiences? Only thread i found here that was close was old and short.
