Sometimes I am able to play games with Safari but most of the time it takes forever to load (the continuous loading stratego text shows on the screen), and once it finally does load, I always have to re-enter my user id and password every single time. Chrome/FireFox load the game in seconds and I am able to play with ease. I guess the site developers do not care about Mac Safari users. Yes I have complained and have received zero replies, so I will continue to have to use Chrome if I want to play games there.

This is not the only site that has issues with Safari as I have run into government websites, company job application sites, among others that do not work properly with Safari.

Not near my Mac right now, but, could be an extension/add-on causing issue? Ie add blocker, cookie scubber/privacy extension?

Then again, I have a work website that only works in IE on Windows (won't work with any other browser on any OS). Maybe poorly designed sites?

Quick and easy test is to create a dummy account and launch Safari without extensions in place: site pulling up? Booting into safemode might be able to do similar (have not tried this myself).

Also: any anti malware/virus/firewallsoftware installed? I've seen in the past where some of these are overly zealous re: locking things down.

ADD: on iPad Safari, the above homepage came up with no delay/issue.

No I am talking about playing the game which cannot easily be done on Mac Safari.

So you don't actually want any help to try and improve/resolve the problem(s)?

I do if it can be resolved, but unless I am mistaken I think the problem is with the site developers. The proof I need is someone else that also likes playing this game and can play the game on this site with no hassle.

Did you post on any forum the site itself has? You have been given some ideas but people tend to give the time they have it available when they have it, which isn't always at your convenience. No idea how popular that site may or may not be with members here, you may need to troubleshoot it.

To be honest though, you could have tried a dummy account and ruled out Safari extensions very quickly.

How do I do that?

I just checked and my version of Safari has no extensions. Does this make a difference? I have also tried the site having the cache cleared so unless I get a better idea I am going to conclude that the issue is Safari incompatibility with the site.

Yes I have posted on the site's web form but few if any there use Safari.

Just ran the test in my administrator account and Safari still has issues playing the game so the problem is the site developers who have not made the game compatible with Safari. Posts to their form go replyless so its safe to say its good to be using another browser at times.
