Hi everyone,
Say we start a timer to time something. Now, let's do something else while it's timing.
A few moments later, let's check on that timer. We can swipe up for the control center and open the clock app or click the icon on the home screen.. LOOK - the countdown is the first screen again!
WHY?
The Clock app icon is a clock and the timer icon is different, (they're all different icons) so let's eliminate the idea that the clock app is specifically intended for a countdown timer, besides, it's a multi-functional app.
The majority of apps in iOS are multi-functional and all of them will open to your last used view.
Why does the clock app default to the countdown? Is it something Apple has overlooked or have they done this on purpose? It doesn't seem to be justified with any practicality.
Can anyone explain why this is the behavior of the clock app?
Apple, if you're reading this can we please modify this for iOS 11 to default to the last view?
Thank you
