Why does this always happen?

Has this ever happened to you guys ? It's been happening to me ever since iOS 10

Haven't had that issue on any version of iOS 10.. including betas

Off topic, but I'm curious about these things.

I may be mistaken, but didn't previous versions of iOS change the keyboard back to letters after you typed in numbers then hit the space bar? Mine won't do that. Also, there used to be an @ sign on the letters keyboard, but not any longer.

Yes this got changed/broken with iOS 10, but is working correctly once again in iOS 10.2 betas, so it's coming back.
