I just don’t get the point of literally breaking a phone on camera!

This is why https://socialblade.com/youtube/user/everythingapplepro. And that's before any sponsored videos.

Also, I like his vids but I have to believe he doing just a bit of Applecare Fraud.

Either way, they are entertaining because it helps you understand how durable the phone is. Some YouTubers mindlessly destroy the phone and that's annoying. EAP at least puts some thought into it.

Wow never knew about that site. Thanks.

He could’ve at least reviewed the phone first, no unboxing video or anything just straight to breaking them.

He’ll make enough to buy a whole stack of new iPhones with the ad revenue.
That’s literally what he does lol. He has hundreds if not thousands of iPhones in his collection.

If you get 1 million views out of that crap, AdSense gives you enough cash to get three other phones and then some. It's a sound business decision.

If you have enough money and it doesn't come from an animal, why not?

His drop tests aren't exactly scientific. There's too much variance in angle to actually give a good indication of how durable the glass is. And real-world drops have an enormous number of factors that no drop test in controlled conditions can account for, so they are almost pointless to begin with.

The only thing remotely interesting about these destruction videos, it does kind of show you the construction of the iPhone and what it’s capable of handling under various stresses that would not likely be in everybody’s situation. But I don’t subscribe or care to watch EverythingApplePro in general.

Gives you insight into the build quality and durability without destroying your own investment.
