Why does this image show clipping?

Why does the RGB scale image linked below show clipping on the new Macbook Airs using Safari but not when viewing with Chrome?

Why when viewing the image using Safari on a Macbook Pro, it does not show clipping?

Scroll the image to the right to see bright colors that clip on the Air in safari.
(last 4 bars Red and last 2 bars green)

I assume its to do with Safari being color managed vs Chromie not being,
but how to solve the issue so all gradients can be seen on the Air when using Safari like on the Pro?

When you export the image, go to the color preferences and choose "do not color manage" so that the profile is not embedded. This will keep Safari from trying to display the image based on the embedded profile. Without the profile, it will default to normal display.

Thanks, stripping the color data does allow it to be viewed in Safari or Chrome without clipping.

Wondering why clipping shows when viewing the original image (with its color management data)
using Safari on the Air but not when using Safari on a Pro?

Is that revealing an issue with the Air's color management profiles?
