On an iPadProo11, I want to sign in at Google. It requires 2 step authentication from my iPhone11Pro. But I used to receive the authentication on my iPad as well, so I don't have to pick up my iPhone to see the 6 digit code. What do I have turned off that will allow me to receive the authentication on the iPadPro so I don't have to pick up my phone?

You’re not really giving us much to go on. How did you receive the notification? Was it via text or was it through an app?

In the recent past and for a long time, I could receive the 2 step code in a small pop up on the iPadPro11, so I don't have to go to my phone each time a 6 digit code is texted to me to authenticate my sign in. But it is not happening now,

I assume that the code came from the iMessage app on the iPadPro from the iPhonePro11.

Have no problem receiving a 2 step code on my iPhone11. But I don't get the same code on my iPadPro11. So I have to pick up my iPhone to see the code.

If the codes are via text message, make sure you have text message forwarding turned on for your ipad.

On your phone, go to settings/messages/Text Message Forwarding and make sure this is turned on for your iPad.
