I like many have a variety of Apple products (Mac, iPhone, iPad, watch, HomePods etc).
My HomePods are used for music and some scenes for rain sounds for my 1 year old going to sleep. As well as some smart light.
One of the things that drives me crazy is when I say “Hey Siri” Siri has no idea what device I’m talking about sometimes even when I ask.
“Hey siri play xyz” … music starts playing on my iPhone because it was face up.
Why doesn’t Apple let me say “Hey HomePod” “Hey iPad” “Hey iPhone”This would be such a simple step to direct your command and wouldn’t even remove from the existing hey siri process.
The only work around I have found is to set the HomePods to work with the “Siri” command but they also seem to not register it as easily.
