Hey Guys,

This really intrigues me. Why has Apple chosen to wait till Fall to implement Facebook integration? It is not like it requires some intense programming that they need more time to finish it.

What do you guys think?

I feel like they are going to do something big with the iPhone facebook integration and the Mac integration. I also very much feel like the release of the new iPhone is when the new Facebook app will be coming up. Something is cooking up with facebook and apple.

I think it was because it was implemented later because the agreements to use the API's didn't come until much later down the line. It isn't complete yet and still buggy.

It was a late addition. That's it.

Together with the new iphone to increase the impression on market ... And yes, iOS6 is not yet ready, still beta phase. Fall is early enough.

I thought I heard that Facebook was still working on the backend support for it. They may have had a test environment set up as a proof-of-concept, but a more substantial environment might be needed to provide support for all the people using it.
