My first love was Microsoft Windows 98. OMG! , a machine that can play games, let me watch videos and music and also let me browse the internet - it all seemed unbelievable at that time. Falling in love with Fifa 99, Half life , Carmageddon 2 , this assembled pc was a delight. Everyday, me and my friends would get a new CD from the movie rental shop and watch a new movie. Golden were the childhood days!. Now i have upped it to Windows 7 and better specs, but the enthusiasm is not there anymore as an adult. Yeah i still love technology, but will i ever "fall in love" again?
My second love was an android phone. Specs were too low compared to today's heavyweights. However, a machine which lets me use my fingers to swipe and slide to interact with it. Nothing short of magic. Has an app for every purpose imaginable i.e. using it as a wireless mouse/keyboard for pc, remotely controlling my desktop, etc.
My latest love is the ipad mini. Am able to compose a whole song using Garageband, able to read whatever magazines/books i throw at it and it is so lightweight , it is built for gaming. Not to mention the impressive battery backup.
I love all 3 OS' equally and want them all to succeed in their own ways. People bickering about trivial stuff which doesnt really matter in real world usage makes no sense. Here's to the future - IOS7, Win 8.1, Android Key Lime Pie
