iPad Pro Why hasn't anyone mentioned the 2x camera on the new M4?

Tried out the camera and noticed it’s taking 12mp images at both 1x and the 2x button that’s available. Makes me wonder if there’s a new camera or a new ISP that allows this?

Ok wise guy It would be nice if some of the YouTubers actually mention something ELSE other than literally the same 50 videos of unboxing and drooling over thinness. I’m genuinely interested if there’s something different with the camera software and hardware going on. The best camera is the one you have with you, after all. If a moment strikes I use my iPad Pro instead of going to get my phone. Moments are moments for a reason….they often pass quickly.

I think it’s because it is just a digital zoom which you can do up to 5x
