WHy is it that after I haven't used Apple TV for a few days, the menu goes "blacked out," and I have to restart the device?

Why have to restart Apple TV so often?

Are you on a power strip or direct into the wall outlet? It may have something to do with the power surge.

the one that we have on display in our retail store does the same thing, but its hooked up to a Monster line conditioner. I think that it's getting too hot in its cabinet. We moved it onto the top of the cabinet and plugged one of those Targus chillpads for laptops under it and haven't had any problems since we moved it last week.
