macOS Why haven't I heard ANYTHING from the iPhone Developer Program?

I applied to the program back on April 6- and I still haven't heard anything... Not even a rejection or confirmation of enrollment letter! When I go to apply again I get a message saying :

Thank you for submitting your information.

While we process your information, please visit the iPhone Dev Center to download the iPhone SDK and access a wealth of technical resources. Please note, the iPhone Developer Program will initially be available to a limited number of developers and will expand in the coming months.

I never received any emails- I've checked around and everyone has at least got a letter of rejection first.. not me! I've called ADC and they've given me the usual b.s. 'limited number of developers', etc. but don't you think it's strange that I didn't get the "thank you for expressing interest letter"?

Should I apply with another Apple ID?

Just wait. I guess they are being very specific with those they are letting in with Premier and Select ADC members I imagine getting priority access.

But it seems that after everyone got their initial rejection letter, they've gotten in by now. And what's the fun of being iPhone Developer when you everyone else already has the 2.0 firmware

I've not received a rejection letter or anything myself. I guess I'll just wait and see what comes of it. Saves me £59 in the mean time so I'm not complaining .

Did you apply with your original iTunes ID or the new ID you had to create with the iPhone Dev program? I initially created the new ID when the SDK was released but unintentially logged in with my first ID that worked to get me into the Dev pages. I applied with that ID way back when and never gave it a second thought. I didn't recieve acceptance or rejection at all. I even started a thread here asking if anyone knew what the deal was. I then logged in with my other ID just for the hell of it and the system asked me the initial application questions as if I never applied before. 2 weeks later, on May 1st at 11pm, I got my acceptance letter without a rejection letter and paid my $99 for the program.

Hopefully my experience can help you in some way. the moral of the story is that I was using the wrong ID, probably, the whole time!

Yea... My apple ID, which is also my iTunes store account, and was my ADC account before the SDK came out. When the SDK came out, I registered to be an iPhone developer with that same account. I have another apple ID that's linked to another iTunes account but is not ADC or an iPhone developer though, should I use that one?

EDIT: I created a new Registered iPhone developer account with my .Mac account, and then applied with that same account, after it was registered as an iPhone developer account. Maybe this will work

The problem is when I was entering the dev program at SDK release it said you could NOT use your iTunes Account. Whether they changed that since or not I had to create a second account.

Hmm they are all the same although I guess it might have changed. This is what it says now.
