#1. Its too big 13” it’s not a one handable tablet.
#2. Apple has started full production run of the M2 very early
#3. I don’t need it.
#4. I fully expect OLED down the line
#5. Already own a M1 MacMini running at 1440p 144hz
#6. M1 iPad Pro XDR besides the amazing display doesn’t provide any features.
#7. I don’t think the iPad Pro M1 with no fan will provide max level M1 performance.
#8. What’s the rush ?
#9. M2X or M3X is gonna blow us away I don’t want buyers remorse.
#10. M2X MacBook Pro 14” is what I want.

For me, I don't think waiting 4 years to upgrade from my 2017 iPad Pro 12.9 is considered "rushing". Rushing would've been if I had upgraded my 2017 Pro to the 2018 Pro after just a little bit over a year of use. The 2018 would've been $1899 at the time while the 2021 is $1999 so it's not like the 2021 costs much more.

Well I'm keeping my 2018 11" Pro and getting the M1 2021 12.9" Pro... Just because I love the idea of the quality screen, the speed I'm getting always spoils me since I tend to keep the models for about 5 years. I like to drop the older one as a backup that spends most of it's time in my office. But it's there if I have an issue with the prime driver.

I may just get the 11 inch pro 2021 and then upgrade to the 14 inch MacBook Pro for the bigger screen
I'm thinking of doing this as well. I had the 2018 12.9" at first coming from the smaller Ipad Pro. I ended up returning it 2 days later and got the 11". I love it. I however mainly use it for media consumption and emails with the magic keyboard.

The 12.9 didn't feel to big to me, but I did feel like it was a bit cumbersome. In landscape in bed, I hated that it was a reach to type on the keyboard, and I'm not a huge fan of the compacted shortcut keyboard. If the ipads get external monitor support and the full windows suit enabled I may end up going larger after WWDC. I'm still on the fence, and disappointed the 11" doesn't have the XDR display. I do feel the 11" is the perfect size for my needs.

Not sure how far Apple is willing to go after the M1. Unless running Mac OS then extreme over kill. Don’t expect Apple to allow full Mac OS on the iPad anytime soon.
