why im buying a black macbook instead of a macbook air

the macbook air looks amazing and all...but i think im buying a blackbook. i dont really care about the unremovable battery and the lack of firewire..but

a)I want a computer that does not depend on another's dvd drive or hard drive for storage
b)I want a laptop that will last at least 4 years... the MBA seems waaayy too fragile
c)I ***HATE*** the black keyboard on the MBA
d)1.6 ghz is just too slow

i dont really care about the unremovable battery and the lack of firewire..but at first i loved the MBA..but then, after reading "Why NOT to buy a MacBook Air" for hours..i realized a black macbook with 2 gb ram would be better

What? When I saw it I LOVED it instantly. And then they turned on the backlight on the keyboard...oh man if they update the Macbook and stick that new keyboard on it I would just die.

From now on, I'll look at the F5 and F6 keys on my BlackBook and know that that's where the keyboard backlight controls are... which sadly is missing on the BlackBook.

That's the only feature I envy on the 'Air. Oh well, one can dream...
