Apple Maps confuses me very much, in macOS 12 I can't even submit feedback and try to correct outdated information or add new places to the Maps less awful to use. It seems to me, that Apple doesn't really have the capacity to build an actual useful map for anything outside the bay area. In my town many places have moved, shutdown or newly opened but Apple Maps is stuck in time. When Apple intruduced Maps everybody laughed about their weird 3D view which was not rendered correctly but the real issue is, that the map is often times just outdated and when you rely on place names you can't be sure if it is correct. Sometimes the business just move cross the street but not always.

And yeah, that bicycle routes are also limited to a few regions and those don't even include bicycle friendly countries like the Netherlands or Denmark is just weird and annoying.

Yeah the experience when trying to create and edit guides in macOS Maps is terrible and bug laden too.

Apple Maps is only really usable in the Bay Area. Anywhere else it's utter crap.
It's always been like this, and most likely it's always going to be.
