Thus bug me more than ever with Apple...

Why is Apple not consistent with their menu structures ? This is not only on each Mac OS X or even between OS X updates, but also on iOS too..

For example, depends which version device u have and iOS u have u'll either see "Mobile" or "Cellular" ... within that u'r see the suggested text, but the main menu always changes between updates.... On my parent iPhone 5c she sees "mobile", while my iPhone 6 says "cellular"... I'm guessing since i'm on 9.2.1, she must be not updated yet. iOS buttons "Back" change depends which menu is displayed..

I'm constantly looking for the "Back" button in the top left corner, but some menu's even dialog boxes the buttons are reversed order.. between iOS updates.

Any idea why Apple never sticks to one thing? I don't min Apple changing *adding* menus but why change names? and then they change back again later on.

Perhaps you may need to change your thread title to something closer to what you are writing about; reading it, I had assumed you were about to discuss the consistency of Apple and its products whereas, from your post, it s clear that you are discussing something else entirely.

I was always under the impression that something like mobile vs cellular was more related to some region settings than anything else (although perhaps the model of the phone--as in if it might be one that is a particular international one or something like that--and/or carrier might have something to do with it too).

I don't recall seeing the naming change from one to another (and then perhaps back) on various devices that I've used over the years.

In the British Isles, we use the term 'mobile phone' to describe what Our Transatlantic Cousins describe as a 'cell phone'. Perhaps Apple employed some British software engineers and designers.
