Should I turn it off? I have an Apple Watch so for the purpose of fitness tracking (Which I want) I have it enabled however I wonder why it’s always running..

This is what my privacy system services page looks like(see attached photos), as you can see I have most of the unnecessary stuff disabled to keep battery at optimal levels

Have you tried turning it off and then still seeing small arrow next to clock time to time? I have turned off all services and apps but still location services indicator arrow appears almost every 10 minutes on top of screen. First i though it is bcause of compas calibration setting but apparently it is not.

Edit:
phone is iPhone 11 Pro Max
Os: ios 13.1.1

Can you show a screenshot of your location services settings screen?

I thought Compass Calibration was specifically (and only) for the Compass app, While Motion Calibration and Distance was needed for watch.

Flightradar24 AR feature doesn’t work without it. And in the maps app it doesn’t show the position you are looking at.

I recorded the screen video. Now you may understand better. It shows on top that something is using location. But none of the apps or system services have purple arrow next to them.

That’s odd. Try turning the status bar icon off for the system services. That why you can eliminate it being a 3rd party app.

I have tried that as well. When i turn off the status bar icon, it never shows up unless i use a third party app that really uses the location data. So in my case i believe that one of the system services uses location data but i'm unable to track and turn off.
