find song, click on gift music under artist name, click on gift song, enter recipient's email...done

or

buy them a physical gift card

or

send them an electronic gift card in their email done under main screen in iTunes.

Seems pretty easy to me...or does another music download service have an easier way/ er I mean a way at all to gift music? :D

Perhaps if you gave an detailed explanation, or any explanation at all, of your problem, we'd be able to help (or at least have a clue at what you're talking about).

As Pandaboots pointed out, the entire process seems rather straightforward.

The gift music option is usually only available when you search by album--even then it's hit or miss.

To prove a point try to gift:

Name: Have you forgotten
Artists: Red House Painters

Good Luck!

Had I been so inclined it'd be in your inbox by now.

It's simple: search for the song, select song, click the little arrow next to the name (taking you to the entire album view), click the "gift this music" button (right below "Buy Album") and then select the song(s).

1. Search for "Have You Forgotten"
2. Click the arrow next to the album, "Songs for a Blue Guitar"
3. Click "Gift This Music"
4. Click "Gift Song" next to "Have You Forgotten"

Okay Thank You very much! It worked, I guess all the arrows really confused me. Now I can send this song to 3 friends who would appreciate it!

Thanks again!

1. Search for "Have You Forgotten"
2. Click the arrow next to the album, "Songs for a Blue Guitar"
3. Click "Gift This Music"
4. Click "Gift Song" next to "Have You Forgotten"

Thanks Wild Cowboy! The arrows confused me.

E-mail your email addy and I will send you each an album of your choice. I am serious. I need to make up for my stupidity.

Let's just hope I have the common sense to gift your album.

Not necessary, but thanks for your appreciation. :)

no problem..thanks for the generous offer though. I think I'm with you in that the extra step of having to go to the album the song is on to click gift music makes it a bit confusing. After all, it would be easier/maybe more intuitive if one could search a song and click buy or gift right there. Anyway, just pass on your knowledge to the next guy and we are even. Peace
