Why is Leopard Screwing up my iChat?

I just got a brand New Macbook and installed the Leopard upgrade. Everything works perfectly except for iChat. It says that my computer is incabable of video conferencing and it says that there is no camera connected to my computer. I was on the phone with apple all day yesterday and had to reinstall leopard and ilife 08' and got the problem fixed, but then I installed all of the updates to ilife 08' and it stopped working. Any IDEAS??!! PLEASE HELP
