I just signed up for a free trial of the .mac service. I got some photos up through iphoto, but I'm having a lot of difficulty adding avi files to my idisk so I can put them on my homepage. When I try to copy a file to my idisk it copies, but then something happens at the end where it says it is closing the file. This message stays up for a couple of minutes. When I go to my idisk nothing is there. Why?

Thanks.

When we had .Mac that happened as well, but my movies uploaded if you just waited until the copy window went away. I don't know why, but it always showed a few KB uploaded and then the rest of the time it just said "Closing File". Try uploading again and just let it sit there until the window goes away. Also, are you just uploading onto the iDisk, or are you uploading into the correct (Pictures, Movies, etc.) folder?

I'm not sure... but mine always does that... Give it time... Once the window goes away, the file is there. Remember that your upload speed is probably pretty slow... usually under 30 kilobytes per second (down is usually 3000 to 5000).
