I'm running the coreduotemp program and its 63 C. It says my macbook is only running 1.5 GHz instead of 2.0. How do I run it at 2.0?

The processor will run at different speeds depending on the load you're putting on it. Crack open Photoshop and a few other programs and put them to work - it should go up to 2.0GHz then.

Thanks, I thought I was going crazy. It did go up after I opened up a few programs.

Open up two Terminal windows and run "yes > /dev/null/" without the quotes in each window and see what happens.
