I have a brand new late-2016 15" retina MBP. Even thought it's brand new, I often find the cursor freezes when I move it.

When I got the computer, I used Migration Assistant to convert it to the last backup of my old computer. But I can't think of any other thing I did that might be an issue. It has a 500 GB HD and over 50 GB's of free space. I used to make the cursor super large but made it smaller as per advice I saw on another question but it hasn't changed it. Any advice? It's super annoying!

What was the old computer? Exactly what did you migrate from the old computer to the new computer? If you migrated any system files over from the old system to the new system that could be causing the issue.

I did a complete migration, copying everything. I assume system files were transfered too.
