I'm really hoping someone here may be able to help me before I have to go into the Apple Store.
I have the iphone4, it's less than 3 months old. Updated, all that jazz. This is what's going on. All day today without my knowledge I have not been able to receive calls or texts. I can send them out and make calls...people get those, however if someone calls me or sends me something it doesn't show up. I've reset the network on the phone itself, I've restored the previous settings through itunes, nothing. I'm at my wits end because I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
The second issue is that when I originally got itunes and the phone I had everything registered with hotmail. Because of the issues with hotmail in the iphone mail program I changed everything to gmail. My itunes on my computer(it's a pc) (never again will I buy one) shows my id@gmail.com however on the phone it still shows id@hotmail.com. It's been like that for the past few days. Now here is the problem, I've downloaded things on my phone with the hotmail.com...however now when I have to update an app it still shows my id@hotmail.com and when I type in my password it does not work. I've synced the phone and itunes on the computer multiple times but my phone will not show @gmail.com. What am I doing wrong?
I'm sorry if this sounds like a whiny ass just rambling but I've just been going crazy for the past 5 hours and with it being Sunday theres no one at apple for me to call. A gigantic thank you to anyone that can help me out.
