Why is my MacBook Air squeaking like a plastic HP?

Recently, my M2 air has started making "clicking and squeaking" sounds. They are most noticeable when typing or when the machine is being moved around, even slightly, such as sitting on my lap. I have no idea what is causing this or how to fix it. If anyone has had or is having a similar experience I would love to know.

I have the same issue on my 13” M2 MBA… quality beginning to feel cheap.

What were you doing to get it to make that noise? Also what kind of environment do you live in?

it was just on my lap and I was just gently rocking to back and forth. I live in the uk.
