iPad Why is my mail not fully downloading all of a sudden?

"Your network settings prevent content from loading privately."

I keep seeing this message in my mail items, and I have to press a button to get graphics and other content to load. I haven't changed any settings, and I don't want to disable something that might really be protecting my devices, but this is a little annoying. Is there a safe way to turn this off?
