All iPads Why is the Air 3 not an option to trade in?

I’d like to get the new iPad Pro, but the Air 3 isn’t showing up as an option to trade in through Apple. Anyone know why?
 
It is current generation. I've read that they'll take it in store but the website only has last generation?
