Why is the Battery Widget so semi-useless??

Why can't the Battery Widget display battery status for:

iPhone
iPad
Mac
Watch
AirPods

all in one place?

Find My service and third-party battery apps can. Why can't Apple's native Battery Widget?

I was just wondering this myself.. I'd like to add my iPad battery to my iphone battery widget but aren't sure how or if it can be done.
