iPhone X Why is the iPhone XS in low-light much worse than X for taking pictures/videos ?

I am so confused.

Also the iPhone X takes much better outside pictures than the XS

Is it because of the beauty gate thingy or something else?

I am using the backside camera and not the selfie camera so this is so stupid.
The X is superior EXCEPT when there's tooooo much light but when it's average lightening the X is king I bought the most expensive XS for taking pictures and I can't return it.

The beauty gate thingy was with the front camera and it has been corrected. Outside that, I have no idea why you would see worse photos from a better camera and software.

It is happening to Apple.
They are ripping us off.


The last solid iPhone was the iPhone 6S
iPhone 7 they removed the headphone jack and the same design for it's 3rd year.
And iPhone 8 is even more embarrassing but the iPhone X in my opinion has been the best iPhone ever made except the outrageous price. The storage price is a ripoff. If I have gotten the 256gb model I wouldn't updated to the XS
but I wasn't ready at that time. Had to pay in cash so I couldn't financed it.
