I know that nobody has the answer to this, but I must say that I’m more than surprised that Apple doesn’t offer a black or saddle brown case for their iPhone 13 pro lineup this year.
In my opinion, the black looked great with the graphite last year (though the cases weren’t what I would call true black - especially the silicone one - it was more like a dark gray or washed out black). But, removing the black option completely, seems very odd.
And the same goes for the saddle brown. The color has always been a “fan favorite”, and we’ve always loved to watch how the patina develops.
We all know that something changed with last year‘s model, and it didn’t age quite as well.
But, removing the option, and replacing it with a golden brown, that looks like a combination of the California poppy and SB, resulting in an almost indescribable orangey color, also seems very strange.
I find the new midnight case to be quite good looking, but in daytime, it’s easy to see that it’s not black.
Anyone else a little disappointed with Apple’s decisions this year?
