iPhone X Why is there no search function in the Bitmoji App?

This is extremely frustrating, the only way to search is if you add the bitmoji keyboard. I don’t use emoji or bitmoji keyboards bc they clutter the keyboard and I always accidentally hit them when togglibg the number/letter key and I don’t use them enough to deal with the annoyance. There is no reason the app shouldn’t have a search function, it’s just ridiculous. Not everyone wants a novelty like bitmoji on their regular keyboard.
