One thing I’ve found that’s annoying in 13 is the abundance of ways to move apps on home screen.

1. Normal way = press and hold. Which is how it‘s always been on devices without 3D Touch.

2. 3D Touch + edit home screen

3. 3D + swiping the app. By far the worst way and is just poor design to me.

I can’t be the only one annoyed by this can I lol.

iOS has sadly become a bit bloated. What used to set it apart from android is slowly becoming what makes it the same. A hundred ways to do one thing is one of them.

Who knows why. Change for the sake of change, lack of focus, the company is so big and has their hands in SO many things now

Actually moving icons/apps around my screens was the biggest complaint I initially had when iOS 13 debuted. It was a little while later that I noticed all the other issues and just gave up bothering about the moving process. Fortunately it has been improved so I’m pretty happy with it now. But going from iOS 12 where it was perfect for me to iOS 13 where it was a disaster really set me off at the time. I just hope they leave it alone for now.

Without question, one of the most frustrating things about iOS. I REALLY hope Apple does something about this in 14. Considering we're in the year 2020, it takes way too long to move app icons around - it's ridiculous and frustrating. Press and hold until it wiggles .... then wait another second or two before it even lets you move it. Feels like something that we would've seen in 2007, not 2020.

First world problems, yes - but just my two cents on the topic.

You’re the only one bothered by this.
It started annoying me cause my app in my dock would randomly disappear since I 3D Touch it a lot. Have to restart to get it to come back.

I use 3D Touch a lot as well but never had the issue you describe.

It’s only happened 3 times, I have no idea what triggers the bug. I’ve tried to replicate it but no success. The app turns invisible until you tap it. Only a reboot clears the bug.
