I just bought Hotel California off Amazon. I listen to the preview, then I listened to the song I bought. When I listen to my song, the voice is fainter than the preview. Why is this and what can I do to fix it?

I have had the same thing happen to me.

To keep the sound level relatively close to the rest of iTunes songs, hi-light the song and Command>I, when the track info comes up, click the Options tab and slide the Volume Adjustment to +100%. Click OK and you're done.

It could easily be that the preview was re-recorded or just re-sampled and just sounds different. It's not like the preview is actually playing the song file your downloading, it's playing a file that was cut down to the 30 second allotment.

It could also be that you have Sound Check enabled, which adjusts the volume level of all your songs to generally the same level.
