iPhone Why isn’t the “Body” of emails in the mail app dark when dark mode is enabled?

the body of emails is still bright white in the mail app, is there an additional setting I need to toggle for it to be truly dark throughout?

Yea, but Apple could force a smart invert on it and give the option to the user to decide. Seems like half-thought implementation like everything else in iOS 13.
