Why it iTunes telling me an update is available?

I am on 9.2.1, when I connect my iPhone 6 to iTunes it tells me an update is available 9.2.1.?

It is. This is a newer version to deal with the error 53 problem that Apple caused. They now say it was a mistake and they never intended to disable people phones which were repaired outside of Apple.

It's a new build for 9.2.1 (13D15 -> 13D20) to address "error 53" phones and un-brick them.

The error itself was never intended. That was a bug. It was always supposed to just disable the Touch ID (Samsung also does the same.) The new version of 9.2.1 fixes the error and allows people to continue to use their phone but it still disables all use of the Touch ID.
