All I see: 1 more hour battery life, 500 Nits brightness vs 400 nits, Fan vs No Fan.

The issue I wonder about most is the No-Fan thing on the Air. Will there be overheating issues, or will it be no problem as it is on my iPad Pro?

Any thoughts?

Thanks.

All we can really say at this stage is what Apple told us in the event, and that is with the fan it will allow for high sustained loads on the M1. What that means in real world scenarios it's hard to say yet.

Doubtless the MBP13's performance will be much better, thanks to the fan. Basically it will have all cores (CPU and GPU) clocked higher.

Granted, they could have just left the fan in the Air and accomplished similar results. Seeing as the Air seems to sport the same chassis as before, it does look like they just pulled the fan out to save money and force it to throttle more so the MBP13 could be distinguished in some way.

The MBA was already fanless since was not connected to a heatpipe. So the fan inside the MBA was quite useless

The Pro will be an arbitrary number of Xs faster than however fast the Air is. Also, it has a touchbar.

Wait for reviews and benchmarks, we know basically nothing about these machines yet.
