Why MobileMe does not support notes synch as well

I'd like to keep my notes on iPhone and desktop in synch. Why does not MobileMe support it along with the contacts, email and bookmarks?

While it isn't an Apple app I've been very happy with the Evernote iPhone - Mac integration for doing just this. It syncs text, image, and voice notes via an iPhone app and a native Mac app.

Another thumbs up here for Evernote, it's pretty nice from what I've used so far.
