So it's common knowledge that audio plugins can be found here: Go/Library/Audio/plugins/AU or VSTi none of mine can be seen....making it difficult to edit them or trash them if I need to. The thing is that they ARE there because they work in my DAW and I can also see them when I look at a drive I'm not currently booted into. It's odd anyone have an idea why this is?

AU plugins that are available to all users are located in the Components folder at /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/ and VST, VST3, MAS etc. have their own folders there.

When you install a plugin that will only be available to your own user account they're put in the same-named folders at /Users/YOURACCOUNT/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/. That invisible "Library" folder can be accessed by holding down the Option key in Finder while clicking the "Go" menu.
