When the battery is empty, my mbp turns to sleep and immediatly reactivates and runs until the battery is totaly empty then it shuts down rather than going to sleep mode.
I don't know why but perhaps you do guys?

Mine's doing essentially the same thing. Instead of warning me the battery's low and going to sleep, my computer simply shuts off without warning when my battery gets low. The advice I was given was to take it to the Apple Store (or our local repair center, which is a better alternative) and have them replace the battery and the power management board (not sure if that's the proper name, haven't seen the take-apart guides for any of the new machines). Apparently it's mostly a calibration issue, but calibrating my battery didn't help.
