Hi, I went to an Apple store this morning. Before I arrived, I expected a long line up. However, once I arrived, nobody was lining up to pick up the new products. Is the long line up mostly happening during iPhone, rather than Mac, release?
Last year 28.6 million Macs shipped worldwide.Hi, I went to an Apple store this morning. Before I arrived, I expected a long line up. However, once I arrived, nobody was lining up to pick up the new products. Is the long line up mostly happening during iPhone, rather than Mac, release?
That restriction may have been a blanket policy with each store manager having the ability to overide it if their location has as tepid demand as you do.Usually we can choose to pick up in store but from last Sunday to Monday, Apple restricted that option and they just put available for purchase in store on June 13. So I thought too many people placed the orders. Then, the pick up in store option became available again in the morning of June 13. What happened?
Why would one expect long lines at all anymore? You can just order it online.
Yeah but usually there's no wait or they tell you to schedule pickup if it's busier.Pick up after ordering online
Yes. I'm still on a 2018 13-inch MBP. It's still fine for browsing the web, photos, office work. I will probably upgrade though if I start editing video.I think it’s because people are over equipped with already very good laptops.
