It sure would be great if we were able to view the apps on the app store by acceding/descending rating. I'm getting sick of clicking through multiple apps to view them, just to see the 1 star rating.

Wouldn't we all like to be able to list the top 20 RATED apps, not the most popular or most purchased.

Given the "quality" of the posts we've had here since launch, do you really want to base your decision on their feedback?

I've seen such crap feedback in the store, I hope Apple intends to clean it up. I've seen bad reviews because people think the app should be free or this sucks, I could get it free on my jailbroken phone.

Might make sense for Apple to only allow feedback to those who have purchased the app.

Maybe they could display the score only after 10 reviews. Usually you can get a pretty good idea once there is greater then 10-20 reports.

actually, the first ten reviews are usually "this app is too expensive", "i'd get it if it was cheaper", etc.
