Why did you take this away? Bring it back! I want the text size bigger but dont want to scroll from side to side to see the whole page after I zoom. Keep the page fit to the screen.

Assuming that you mean while using Safari, try command-option-plus and minus.

That gives the same result as "zoom in" under the View tab.

Yes, and neither require you to scroll left or right to see the whole page. This only occurs when you pinch to zoom.
